💬 Whoosh! You Threw It So Well
Hina-chan loves throwing balls. She holds the ball in her little hands... Whoosh! It reached all the way to Papa. “Hina-chan, you’ve gotten so good!”
🤔 Hina-chan, how do you think she feels when she throws the ball?
💬 Lots of Practice!
Hina-chan throws the ball again and again. Whoosh, roll-roll, whoosh! When she practices, she gets a little better each time. Papa said, “Hina-chan, maybe you’ll be a baseball player someday?”
🤔 Is there something you got better at by practicing, just like Hina-chan?
💬 Huh? Is That Something You Can Throw?
But Hina-chan got so excited, she tried to throw things that were not balls too. Hard blocks, the remote control, toys... When Papa saw that, he was surprised! “Oh no! That’s dangerous to throw!”
🤔 What do you think might happen if you throw things that aren’t balls?
💬 It’s Okay to Throw Soft Balls
Papa gently taught her. “What’s okay to throw is a soft ball.” “We don’t throw hard things or important things.” Hina-chan nodded her head. Now she can have fun playing ball again!
