The Friend Who Lent Me a Handkerchief

After playing outside a lot, Child Squirrel went to wash hands. Put on some soap and scrub, scrub, scrub. The little germs on the hands are washed clean away with water. Washing your hands feels good, doesn’t it?

After Child Squirrel finished washing hands, Child Squirrel put a hand into the pocket. But there was no handkerchief. “Oh no! I forgot my handkerchief...” If the hands stay wet, the clothes will get all soaked too. Wiping hands on the floor or clothes is not clean, is it?

Then Panda, Child Squirrel’s friend, noticed. “Child Squirrel, are you having trouble?” Child Squirrel said in a small voice, “I forgot my handkerchief.” Panda smiled and said, “I have a clean spare handkerchief. You can use it if you want.”
