The Little Sprout’s Big Dream

From inside the soil, a little sprout popped its head out. The little sprout looked at the big tree far away and thought, “I want to grow that big soon, too!” The sprout looked forward to the day it would stretch up tall.

Rain fell, drip, drop, drip, drop. The sun shone warmly. The sprout drank lots of water and received the warm sunlight. Then, little by little, it grew more leaves.

Every day, little by little, the sprout grew bigger. And then one day, a beautiful flower bloomed brightly. The little sprout thought, “It’s okay if it doesn’t happen right away. If I keep trying little by little every day, I can grow big!”
