💬 Let’s Practice Lines and Shapes
First, let’s trace the lines and shapes used for the lion. Circles will become the face and body. Wavy lines will become the mane.
🤔 Which shape looks like it could become the lion’s face? Which line looks like it could become the mane or tail?
💬 Trace the Whole Lion
Now, let’s trace the whole lion. Trace the mane slowly with wavy lines. Will it become the same lion as the sample on page 1?
🤔 Can you trace while finding the same mane, face, legs, and tail as in the sample?
💬 Add the Missing Parts Yourself to Finish It
Finally, try drawing the missing parts yourself. Use the remaining lines as clues and finish the lion. Remember the sample and add the mane and tail too.
